So a week on this eating plan has brought out a few surprises. Not eating after 7 pm has been the most difficult change to stick to...the most tempting to throw out. But...I didn't. I stuck with it. So this gives me a small fast of 12 to 16 hours depending on whether I eat breakfast or not. Amazingly eating my meat at noon surrounded by veggies has been the easiest. No carbs. I am now searching for recipees that will add variety to my intake and tastebuds. The cook book that I have beenusing is "One Dish Kitchen" -cookbook and website have been very helpful. Joanie Zisk is a treasure! Keep in mind that the quest for 30 plant varieties continues...30 different varieties each week. One of the consequences of this is that left overs have fallen to the undesireable level. I have noticed an uptick in my energy level. I will share with you each week.
